The original name of the story and maiden is a reference to parsley, while the Grimm version is a reference to rampion. They took it from a German translation of the French Persinette by Charlotte-Rose de la Force, which was probably inspired by the folktale Petrosinella. Tangled is based on Rapunzel, a fairy tale popularized by the Brothers Grimm. Let’s look under the hood and see where their stories came from. Disney purchased Pixar in 2006, and these three movies, one from Pixar and two from Disney, clearly show the influence of both studios. I’ve now covered three quarters of the Disney Princesses, and now we’ve finally entered the era of computer animation. The power of people to share information to the world without a filter is dangerous. But it lacks a safe environment for people to express kindness as hate can easily over shadow all the good that is happening. This platform fosters so much development for people to connect, for business, events, and more. The one frontier that needs to be addressed is social media for kindness. They highlight so many areas of positive messages, kindness and motivation that really can empower individuals.

Another example of these campaigns are the commercials on TV that highlight the idea to Pass it On. Many take the forms of pay it forward, such as Starbucks which allowed its customers to pay for the person behind them in line. There has been many campaigns that have worked on the idea of random acts of kindness. So, be kind, today and always, because someday it may be you that needs someone to be kind in return-people remember that. We don't get to decide if what we are going through is any harder than what the person is going through, because it all hurts nonetheless. Not only today, but every day, remember that everyone you meet in this world is fighting their own battle. Today-yes, on a rainy and cold Monday-I did something as simple as paying $2 for the person's coffee behind me in line, and that alone was enough to make this Monday a good Monday. Find a little way to make a difference in someone else's world, and I promise it will make a difference in yours. This doesn't have to be anything like saving their life, although it could be.
Help Someone.Įvery Monday, do something to help someone. Make a change, do a good deed, take a nap-just do something simply because you can. Now, this doesn't have to be some outrageous, out-of-this-world goal that takes forever to complete just simply do something for yourself today that makes YOU happy - key word being you. She came home with no oxygen, no monitors, no feeding tube, and at a whopping 6 pounds!!! 97 days, multiple spinal and brain taps, a diagnoses of hydrocephalus, a VP shunt surgery, two nearly septic infections, and a whole lot of prayers later their precious miracle came home to the castle. Bad enough that they couldn't tell if she had any brain tissue at all on that side. Brave had a massive brain bleed on her left side, bad enough that if the bleed had been of that degree on both sides they would not have recommended continuing life support. On day three of her tiny life the King and Queen's worlds were turned upside down again, on what is supposed to be one of the most magical times of their life. But princesses are supposed to make an elaborate entrance right? I guess she just wanted to grace us with her presence a little bit early, and a very big scare. Their precious princess was born 15 weeks early. The next Wednesday though, a princess was born.
